Lotte World Adventure | A Day at Seoul’s Iconic Indoor Theme Park

We visited Lotte World Adventure in Jamsil, Seoul on May 15, 2023, and it was every bit as magical as we hoped. We booked our tickets via Klook which made the process super smooth, no long lines, just scan and enter.

Lotte World is split into two main areas:

Adventure (Indoor) — dreamy rides, fantasy themes, photo spots, and indoor parades

Magic Island (Outdoor) — more thrilling rides, roller coasters, and a castle view

We stayed mostly indoors to enjoy the cozy, storybook-like atmosphere. Even on a warm May day, it was comfortable, photogenic, and full of things to do.

If you’re going for the aesthetic, you’ll love these photo spots: the Carousel (that iconic indoor ride with dreamy lights) and the Castle view on Magic Island — perfect for fairytale vibes ✨. There’s no shortage of cute corners and charming backdrops — it really feels like stepping into a K-drama set.

There are plenty of snack stands and restaurants inside Lotte World from Korean corn dogs and churros to bento-style meals. You won’t go hungry here.

We ended up eating at Lotteria, which was a convenient and familiar option. Prices are pretty standard for a theme park, but still affordable if you're not looking for anything too fancy.

We booked our Lotte World tickets through Klook, and it honestly made everything easier. No printing needed, no language barrier, just show your mobile voucher at the entrance.
