Thinking of visiting Boracay but not sure when to go? I visited last April 2025, and here’s what I learned — plus a quick guide to help you choose the best time for your kind of trip.

This is Boracay’s dry season (December to May), locally known as Amihan. You’ll get clear skies, calm waves, and that perfect beach weather. It’s the best time for swimming, island hopping, and photo-worthy views. But take note — it’s also peak season, so expect bigger crowds and higher prices on hotels and tours.

The wet season (June to November), or Habagat, brings occasional rain, stronger winds, and fewer tourists. It’s not all bad. This season means cheaper rates, quieter beaches, and a more relaxed island feel. But some water activities may be limited, so if you’re planning island hopping or diving, double-check availability.
We visited in April 2025, and the weather was mostly sunny and clear. There was a light rain on the morning of April 7, but it didn’t last long — and we were still able to enjoy our day as planned.

So When’s the Best Time?
That depends on your style:
❖ For beach bums & sunseekers: Go between March to May
❖ For budget travelers: Try June or November
❖ For balance: April (just like ours) is a sweet spot — good weather, moderate crowds, and fun vibes
Overall, April felt like the perfect time to visit — sunny days, manageable crowds, and no need to cancel plans due to weather.
